Twilight

Life was not interesting until I saw you,
Your thoughts entered me like the waves of sea entering the shore,
It feels like Twilight entered into my dark world,
I would have redefined the word beauty if the definition really exists.

Our morning wishes each day turned into a night long chat,
Missed call turned into endless long calls
When ever my phone rings I wish it is you,
Minutes turn years when you dont talk,

Before I opened my heart, You opened my eyes pointing
Why the heck people misunderstand Friendship as Love?
I realised what a blunder I was about to do
Life was still more interesting to have a caring friend like you.

Days past month past years past and its time to depart,
We hold our friendship even if we were miles apart,
Oh my God! I cant believe this, You said
That "Will you be my man?"

I still hear those words in my heart,
I felt I was reborn on this earth,
It took more than a week to realise its not a dream,
Before I decided to tell you that you are my Destiny.

You told that you are in love with someone,
I felt empty as there was nothing left in me,
And I never want you to be even in my dream again,
But this Twilight will remind me not to fall in Love again.
